Running out of gas is one of the most stressful things that can happen when you’re travelling—so it’s always best to make sure that your car has a full tank. But what vocabulary and phrases should you use when talking to a gas station attendant?

Fun facts

There’s a lot more going on at gas stations than you can see. Did you know that there can be as many as five giant underground tanks storing tens of thousands of gallons of gas at each station? That’s a lot of gas!
