The subject matter is very interesting, but I have a hard time understanding Anna. I’ve come to sigh when she is the co-host and I have to motivate myself to listen to the episode.
I can understand Andrew’s words without any problem, but for Anna it’s much more laborious. I don’t know if I’m the only one?
What might help is listening to the Anna’s with 2Ns podcast as she speaks slower on it, which allows you to get used to her accent a bit. The more you listen to it, the easier it gets 🙂 another idea is trying 0,75 speed, could be helpful too
I agree with you. If I recall correctly, she is from the UK, so she carries the British accents. I guess that makes it hard to understand what she’s saying. However, I’m sure that listening to a wide range of English speakers helps us understand a lot of contents native English speakers watch or listen to on a regular basis. That is one of our goals, I think.
